NEW DELHI: Whole receipts by BJP’s central occasion headquarters over the past spherical of meeting polls in Bengal, Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry stood at Rs 1,472.8 crore, as per the occasion’s election expenditure statements for Assam, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry submitted to the Election Fee.The occasion’s closing stability rose to Rs 7,627.2 crore upon the completion of elections on Could 6, 2026, in comparison with Rs 6,722.6 crore on March 15, 2026.BJP, together with the occasion’s central headquarters and the related state and district models, spent a complete Rs 160 crore on the meeting elections in Assam, Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The election expenditure statements for the opposite two states of West Bengal and Kerala are but to be made public by EC.

As per BJP’s election expenditure statements for Assam, the occasion spent Rs 76.7 crore on normal occasion propaganda, which included Rs 23.1 crore spent by its central unit, and one other Rs 19.5 crore spent on candidates. Whereas Rs 27.3 crore was spent on journey bills of star campaigners in Assam, Rs 37 crore was on commercials, Rs 8.9 crore on publicity supplies and Rs 2.3 crore on different bills by the state unit. A complete lump sum of Rs 19.4 crore was paid to candidates and Rs 16.7 lakh spent on publishing legal antecedents of candidates. In TN, BJP authorised a complete spend of Rs 44.5 crore for normal occasion propaganda. One other Rs 7 crore was spent on candidates.In its expenditure assertion launched earlier for a similar set of elections, Congress had declared a complete spend of Rs 248.6 crore.
