NEW DELHI: A movie on the Statue of Unity shall be honoured within the shadow of the monument itself when the 72nd Nationwide Movie Awards ceremony takes place at Ekta Nagar, previously Kevadia, in Gujarat September 22.Govt has not spelt out the explanation for shifting the ceremony out of New Delhi or indicated whether or not taking the awards to completely different areas will grow to be an everyday follow. The transfer however breaks with a long-established sample. Instituted in 1954, the awards have overwhelmingly been offered in Delhi though College Centenary Auditorium in Madras, now Chennai, hosted the seventeenth chapter on November 21, 1970.Amongst these being honoured is filmmaker Aanand L Rai, who received Greatest Path within the non-feature class for Statue of Unity – Ekta ka Prateek.
