NEW DELHI: National Investigation Agency has not dropped terror investigation towards US nationwide Matthew Aaron VanDyke and 6 Ukrainian nationals, information company ANI reported citing sources.ANI reported that the central probing company has investigating into offences underneath the UAPA towards all of the accused.“NIA has filed a chargesheet underneath the Immigration and Foreigners Act (IFA) as a result of these offences have already been absolutely established throughout the investigation until now,” sources informed ANI.This comes days after NIA filed a chargesheet towards VanDyke in a case registered by the company in March 2026. The case was initially registered underneath the UAPA. Nonetheless, the UAPA provision has not been invoked within the chargesheet filed by the company.
